Leading global firms and professional organizations generously support the Women, Business and the Law project. These collaborations allow Women, Business and the Law to harness a diverse array of resources and expertise in order to access the latest and most accurate data.
We are delighted for your organization to join our network of stakeholders supporting WBL data collection on a global scale. Please email wbl@worldbank.org to express your interest. Our team will gladly get in touch.
We are pleased to invite your Firm to complete questionnaires on family law and access to finance, labor law and childcare services, and violence against women across the 190 jurisdictions covered by the Women, Business and the Law report.
STEP 1: The WBL team coordinates with your Firm’s Pro bono coordinator/designated focal point to clarify what being a global contributor entails, outline participation process and provide a detailed timeline.
STEP 2: The WBL team requests to circulate the Expression of Interest Form within your Firm. This allows us to gauge the topics and economies to which your representatives wish to contribute.
STEP 3: Your representative(s) receive a link to the questionnaire based upon the selection indicated in the Expression of Interest Form. The WBL team will refrain from contacting individual experts during data collection, but may reach during the validation stage for additional clarifications.
STEP 4: Your representative(s) complete the questionnaire(s). We remain at your disposal should you need any support during this period.
STEP 5: Once the questionnaire(s) has been completed, all respondents receive individual certificates of appreciation.

The WBL welcomes participation of global law firms, profession networks, associations and unions with expertise in the topic areas covered by Women, Business and the Law.
It would be our pleasure to sign an Engagement Letter, provided or recommended by your team.
The Women, Business and the Law team provides personalized certificates of appreciation to all contributors to acknowledge their contribution. These certificates can be displayed on social media, office walls, or websites. Further, with prior notification, a Firm is welcome to describe its work with WBL on the website and in other promotional materials.
Lawyers located in one jurisdiction can contribute to a different jurisdiction. WBL does not require lawyers to be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction they intend to contribute to.
Lawyers are welcome to participate in several topics or jurisdictions, should they possess the expertise to conduct thorough legal research and have a strong understanding of the relevant legal frameworks.
