Mahmoud Elsaman

Mahmoud Elsaman is an Analyst with the Women, Business and the Law project, where his current research focuses on the Middle East and North Africa region. He previously served as a judge at the Egyptian State Council and held positions at the International Development Law Organization in Italy and at a leading corporate law firm in Egypt. Mahmoud holds a Ph.D. in International Business Law from Central European University, an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and an LL.M. in Rule of Law for Development from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Laws with honors from Cairo University Faculty of Law. He is a native Arabic speaker.
