Julian Morimoto

Julian Morimoto is an analyst with the Women, Business and the Law project at the World Bank Group. He joined the team in February 2024. Before joining the team, he conducted research in the Philippines as a Fulbright Scholar and later as a Research Fellow supported by Harvard University and the University of Tokyo (Institute of Social Science). In addition, he worked as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He is also a Ph.D. student in Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Graduate Student Fellow at Stanford Law School’s RegLab. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Mathematics from Case Western Reserve University, and he is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. Julian knows English, French, Japanese, and Tagalog.
