Jacqueline St. Laurent
Jacqueline St. Laurent is a Consultant with the Women, Business and the Law (WBL) project. She conducts legal research and policy analysis for the Childcare indicator and serves as Record Manager for the Law Library, as well as Survey Designer and Translator for the Language Team. She joined the team in August 2025. Prior to joining WBL, Jacqueline advanced regional human rights advocacy at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and contributed to global health law research at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University. She also served as Technical Secretariat of the Ethics Tribunal at the Peruvian Press Council and conducted legal research as a Consultant for Compemedia. Jacqueline holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Honors in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a Certificate in International Human Rights Law. She was awarded the Post-Graduate Public Interest Fellowship and received Exceptional Recognition for Pro Bono Service. She earned her law degree from Universidad del Pacífico (Peru), graduating summa cum laude for her thesis on the regulation of sexual harassment against women in Peruvian universities under the Belém do Pará Convention. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
