Feature Team Members

Alexis Cheney is an Analyst on the Women, Business and the Law project. She contributes to the research on labor laws and regulations. She also disseminates the team’s research, facilitates stakeholder engagement and supports fundraising. Alexis joined the World Bank in June 2021. Before joining the team, she worked as a Paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice and as a communications consultant for the OECD. She graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University and Sciences Po with a M.A. in International Affairs. She speaks French.
