Constitutional rights  
In Article 6, the Constitution of Sierra Leone provides that the government shall "discourage" discrimination based on sex, but this does not amount to a prohibition on such discrimination. However, Article 15 does prohibit discrimination based on sex, in reference to enumerated fundamental freedoms, including "protection of the law." The broad nature of such a prohibition is sufficient to qualify as a clause prohibiting non-discrimination based on sex.
